FYP: Little Joys Of Life:-Poor Todd, Missed it again!

Todd had finally got his ice cream when his father pulled him away as the bus arrived to go home..Took me nearly three line-tests to finally decide on the final piece, I choose this one because i dint want to make it too complicated and easy for the common man to understand, especially children.

Second video is just showing the bus stopping outside Todd's house. Detailing to the bus still needs to be added.

The third video is the continuation of the first video after the father drags Todd. Its a rough line test.

This video is the walk line test animation.

The bus stop scene, where todd and his father are waiting for the bus to get back home, while Todd attention is again moved to an ice cream van which passes by and stops :)

FYP: Little Joys Of Life- Pan!

Above is the initial or the first pan, over the rosewood town of my film. I wanted to test it before, to make any changes if needed. I used toon boom studio to show case the 3d depth to the background, by arranging the drawings in 3d space, using the side view of the camera.

FYP: Little Joys Of Life-Animations

This is at the end of the movie, when todd is really sad, but gets a surprise when he sees his mother holding a big bowl of ice cream! Which leads to a happy ending.

Above video is the animation of todd in the classroom, he is fast asleep...and wakes up suddenly with the sound of an ice cream van roaming outside the school.

This is the animation of the mother in the film, "she is waiting for her son to come home, and looks across as she hears the sound of the bus, and is pleased to see the bus..."

FYP:Trailer-Little Joys of life

“Little Joys of life”, depicts to us that how a child can find joy and happiness in little things of life, and this can bring ample joy in his life. This film is a simple visualization of a child and his interaction with his parents to buy him an ice cream. Every child would be able to relate with this film.

“Todd” a young boy, and his desire to have an ice cream, is depicted throughout in the film; eventually accomplishing his goal by getting a big bowl of ice cream.

This story will successfully describe and convey visually; the journey of Todd from school to home, followed by various incidents of temptation for an ice cream. “Does he really get an ice cream?” is the real question, which we will all ask ourselves while watching the movie.
